HILLSBORO — Arch Foxworthy, 78-year-old retired farmer and for 42 years a resident of this community, died after a long illness at 4 p.m. Monday in the Ben Hur Home at Crawfordsville. He and Mrs. Foxworthy entered the home Aug. 25. Born Oct. 9, 1886 at Elmdale, he was a son of George and Nancy Ellis Foxworthy. He was married Jan. 13, 1909 to Edna Jennie Beach, who died in 1946. On Dec. 29, 1949 he was wed to Golda Hershberger of Hillsboro in the home of Rev. Charles Howard at Veedersburg. Mr. Foxworthy was a member of the Hillsboro Methodist Church. Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Homer of Orlando, Fla., and George C. of Hillsboro; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Margaret Summers of Hillsboro; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. A brother and sister are deceased. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Arthur Schenck will officiate and burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.  --typed by Walt W
